On September 27th, Delphi celebrated the Grand Opening of their new corporate headquarters located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Team members and industry partners came together to enjoy food, drinks, and share in the accomplishments over the past 44 years that lead to this day.
“The move to a larger, more accommodating space, has been in the works for some time now. Every time we try to expand, or build, on one of our sites, we’ve had all kinds of roadblocks from the Department of Buildings. Until one day Dimitri walked into my office and suggested expanding on the existing footprint of our 1st Ave building. I said, that’s a great idea, in fact I don’t know how I didn’t think of it myself!” said Jim Sidiropoulos, President of Delphi.
“The project took a little over a year and half from design to permit sign offs. We basically built a building inside of a building. This space used to be a logistics yard where the trains would roll in and be unloaded. It was challenging, but thanks to everyone’s efforts, the results speak for themselves.” Said Dimitri Sidiropoulos, Vice President of Delphi.
With the addition of the new headquarters, Delphi is excited to continue its current growth pattern into the future.
